Jessie “Pauline” Cork of Sedro-Woolley, Washington passed away on Tuesday, January 23, 2024, at Skagit Valley Hospital, Mount Vernon, WA.  She was born March 18, 1930 in Lacon, Marshall County, Illinois to Frank L. Boers and Opal (Schooling) Boers.  She was married on January 5, 1951 to Roger Cork in Princeton, Illinois.  They were married for 61 years before his passing in October of 2012.  They moved to Ferndale, WA in 1953 and have lived in Whatcom County for 16 years and Skagit County for the rest of their lives.  Pauline had worked at Mexico Café for many years.

Pauline is preceded in death by her parents; brothers, James, Kenneth, Kermit, Franklin, Phillip, Everett and Samuel; sisters, Inga Boers York, Martha Boers York and Beverly Boers Krafft; brother and sisters-in-law, Donald Cork, DeWayne Cork, Glenna Cork Morse and Viola Cork Cavin; grandson, Zach.

She is survived by her sister-in-law, Alice DePauw of Florida; children, Dorothy “Dottie” Chandler, William Cork, Juanita Cork, Vickie Cork and Ron Cork; nine grandchildren, Kyle, Ryan, Tonia, Mindy, Alicia, Frank, Madison, Arielle and Ashleigh; nine great grandchildren.

There will be no services.  Because of her love for animals, if you wish to donate in her name, you may make a contribution to the Humane Society of your choice.
