JoAnne Fuller, age 88, passed away Saturday, May 16, 2009 at the Evergreen Windsor Rehabilitation Center in Salem, Oregon.

She was born November 4, 1920 in Colorado Springs, Colorado to Franklin and Maude Fuller. JoAnne grew up in Colorado attending school there and during WWII she served with the US Air Force with the Women’s Air Force Service Pilots. After the war, she resided in California until moving to the Lake Whatcom area 53 years ago. She worked for Georgia Pacific in Bellingham for many years.

JoAnne is survived by her granddaughters, Gwen Lang of Phillipsburg, KS, Jackie Sadnick of Blaine, WA and nieces, Vana Fuller of Holladay, UT, Sandra Seravic of Camarillo, CA and her life partner, Ivy Lucille Hedgecoke of Salem, OR.

Graveside Inurnment Services will be Saturday, May 30, 2009 at 2:00 PM at the Saxon Cemetery with Rosalie Robles of the Federation of Christian Ministries officiating with military honors to follow performed by members of the US Air Force, McChord AFB.

    I’m wondering if Ivy is still out there? I had been away & just this week saw that Joanne & Ivy’s farmhouse was gone.
    We hadn’t been close since around 1990 but I miss those grand-gals soo.
