  • Judy Bell

I am the daughter of Ralph and Jo Anne Bell. Dad and I were talking today about our days living in Hamilton. My family moved back to North Carolina in 1970. My Dad has told me many stories about his hunting with Johnny and Hollas. Dad really thought a lot of both men. I was a kid and I thought Johnny was so cool. My uncle, Lonnie Holden lives up the road from me and he can tell a few good stories too.

I will pray for all of you and will relay this sad news to my family. Even though my family is very far away, Johnny Reed is remembered and your loss is heart felt. Johnny is with his dad and if there is hunting and fishing in heaven, find comfort in that thought.

I heard of John’s passing and so have come here to leave you a message.

Though it has been many, many years since we were in contact, I have fond memories of you both and my heart was saddened to see that John had passed away.

It appears he had a wonderful, large family and I have to know it was a loving one and am glad that you have had so many years together.

Those Hamilton days seem like another life and yet I have wonderful memories of them.

I am encouraged with you that John’s passing was into that blessed life beyond and one day you will be reunited again.

May God be ever-present to you at this difficult time.
