Joshua James Goodrow a lifetime resident of Sedro-Woolley and Clear Lake passed away Thursday, January 15, 2004 in Clear Lake, WA at the age of 17 years. He was born August 16, 1986 Sedro-Woolley the son of Chet Goodrow and Lisa Tjeerdsma. Joshua was a senior at Sedro-Woolley High School who enjoyed fishing, hunting, skate boarding, computers, and he was a talented artist.
He is survived by his parents Chet and Nancy Goodrow of Clear Lake and Lisa and Tony Anderson of Sedro-Woolley. A sister and brother Cheyanne and Grant Anderson of Sedro-Woolley. Grandparents Jim and Becky Goodrow of Mount Vernon and Paul and Marge Abernathy of Sedro-Woolley and grandmother Shelley Morgan of Sedro-Woolley. Step grandparents Bob and Cheerie Anderson of Sedro-Woolley, Charles and Viola Pressley of Birdsview, and Pat Anderson of Sedro-Woolley. Great-Grandparents Barney and Marguerite Goodrow of Burlington and a great-grandfather James Williams of Sedro-Woolley. Numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandfather Charlie Morgan. Joshua will be remembered for his beautiful smile and will be missed by his family and friends forever.
Memorial Services will be Saturday, January 24, 2004 at 2:00PM at Lemley Chapel with Pastor Mark Johnson of the Central United Methodist Church officiating. Memorials are suggested to Skagit County Search and Rescue or a Memorial Fund c/o Skagit State Bank in Sedro-Woolley.
