Judy Marsh Wysel was born August 20, 1948 in Ottawa, Ontario. She passed peacefully on February 28, 2024 at age 76.

She is survived by her husband Jimmy and son Jason Senebald as well as a brother, niece and nephew. Judy lived many places in Canada and the United States eventually settling in Clear Lake Washington.

In her life she loved many things including anything to do with water. She was a prolific gardener sharing produce with lucky recipients all summer. She was a talented painter and seamstress. Her special passion was ukulele. Many happy hours were spent with her 5th St. ukulele friends. In addition she jammed with fellow players at the Burlington and Anacortes Senior Centers.

Her friends and family will deeply miss her sense of humor, generosity and loyalty. She was truly a wonder. She left the world a better place because she was here. Please share your memories of Judy and sign the online guest register.

I will forever miss our conversations. Aunt Judy will always hold a special piece of my heart. I will never forget when she let me drive that beautiful red Mustang convertible in Smiths Falls when I was 16. Such a rush! Aunt Judy was always the fun loving cool Aunt. I love her to pieces! I was lucky to have been able to go out west 4 times and visit Aunt Judy, Jason and Uncle Jimmy. I have so many fond memories of all the times we spent together. My condolence’s to Jason and Uncle Jimmy. And to my Dad, Pete Marsh, for being strong and supportive during these hard times. And for helping us to never forget all the good times we shared with his sister my Aunt Judy. My heart is broken in a million pieces. Miss you tons and Love you lots Aunt Judy. Love Debbie Marsh-Liboiron.

Judy was a ray of sunshine whenever she was with us. Always happy and always smiling. She introduced myself and my wife Jody to our 5th Street Uke Garage Band which in turn led us to playing at the Anacortes Senior Center. I cannot say how much we will miss her. Truly a Kind Sole…

When I moved to Clear Lake 8 years ago I hit the jackpot having the best neighbors. Judy and I became fast friends, she became a second mom to me. She would send jimmy over with something she either cooked or baked and I would take things over to them. They became my dog sitters and every day when I’d pick them up we would always sit out back and talk. I’ll miss that and so many other things we shared. Rest easy Judy ❤️

My memories of my sister Judith Mary Bonner Marsh Wysel are endless. Born 47/8/20 to Ken and Dorothy (Bonner) Marsh, and seven years my junior. Her first trip was likely to the family cottage on Trout Island on Big Rideau Lake where she grew up acquiring her passion for water and anything that floated and perhaps her love of animals. She easily made many neighourhood friends, was in the Girl Guides and many school activities. She became a WREN in the RCN posted to Halifax where she met her first husband, also in the RCN. They returned to Ottawa where Jason was born. She later moved to Vancouver, a single mom, and became involved in the maritime industry which became a labour of love. During EXPO 86 they lived on a sailboat moored in False Creek with a grandstand view of EXPO. We drove to the coast that year and enjoyed a wonderful long visit with them. She was a keener, unafraid to try anything, successful at most and her family in Ontario will miss her desperately.
She leaves behind brother Pete(Sally), nephews Al (deceased), Chris, niece Debbie, four grand nephews and nieces and two great grand nephews all in Ontario. There are also many cousins in New York State.
