Kathie was my sister, my friend, and my confidant, we shared our secrets and our dreams and ALWAYS our bedroom. She taught me to dance, about life, and what what was cool and what was not. She was a kind and gentle soul and always there for those she loved. And Jerry when she met you I believe she was truly happy for the first time. I want to thank-you for the loving care you took of our sister during her hard fought and brave fight. There’s a hole in my heart that can’t be filled. So Kathie save me a seat somewhere around yours for the day that I come home. So our hearts can be filled with love and laughter once again. I missyou.

Jerry, I am very sorry to hear of the passing of your dear wife. May God comfort you at this difficult time. I have not had contact with you in many many years. I moved away from that area in 7th grade but I have never forgotten all the good times I had with the folks of the community. My mother was Juanita Queen, and she and your Mom were best friends, we had a lot of wonderful times going to Mount Vernon shopping, and eating out, and you and I being the youngest children were always with them. Take care, and always look to God for his help and he will get you through any trials.

I miss her so very much already. Kathie was my sister in all the ways a sister can be. We had our times when growing up like all sisters. Getting after her for getting my last pair of nylons or wearing my sweaters. We got separated after high school her going to Washington and me going to Oklahoma. In these last few years we had become closer than ever. She fought so hard for every last minute, I know she is with Mom and Len and is no longer in pain and I feel comforted by that thought. Kathie was a beautiful loving lady and will be miss by all. My God bless you Kathie, Jerry, Raeanne and Chris. I Love you all.
