After graduating from high school, he married Ruth Mack in 1945. He then proudly served in the Army and was stationed in Saipan. Loren earned a degree in Economics from WWU in Bellingham, WA. Loren truly valued time spent with his family and friends. He has a strong faith in the Lord and captured any opportunity to share this with others. In his later years Loren spent much of his time traveling, and particularly enjoyed time on the road, and in Arizona and Tennessee. A few years ago, Loren relocated to Wenatchee, WA., living next door to his best friend from childhood. He was active in the Senior Community and the Wenatchee Free Methodist Church.
He is survived by 3 children: Robert J. and his wife, Nancy Marsh, David L. and his wife, Lisa Marsh and Sharon E. and her husband, William Benson. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren, and former wives Ruth Mack, Eva Anderson, Elizabeth Marsh and Olamae Malin, and his beloved friend Barbara.
Loren is preceded in death by his parents and dear sister Juanita Marsh.
Loren was a kind man and will be missed a great deal.

It was with great sadness and shock that we learned about Loren’s passing this afternoon!!! My wife Linda and all three of my children loved Loren with all of our hearts and will miss him greatly! We were making plans for him to come visit us soon. He loved Linda’s wonderful southern cooking and took special delight in her banana pudding. Loren was one of the kindest, sweetest most gentle souls that I have ever known… He knew how to make you feel like somebody special…he always knew if you were having a hard time and could use his immense charm to help “make it alright”. Oh my! What a wonderful man!!!! I thank the Lord for bringing you into our lives even for just a few short years. We will miss you Loren!!! But I know where you are and I will see you again some sweet day!!!
