NADINE E. MAYVILLE, 71, a longtime resident of Sedro-Woolley, passed away on Friday August 19, 2005 at Providence Hospital in Everett.
She was born on June 11, 1934 in Eugene, Oregon, the daughter of Jerome & Florence Perry Wright. She was raised and attended school in Oregon. Nadine attended the University of California, Berkley where she received her teaching degree.
She was united in marriage to Johnny Mayville in Tenino, Washington and they made their home in Oregon until moving to the Skagit Valley where Nadine taught elementary school in the Sedro-Woolley School District for many years.
She enjoyed sports, especially football and was a dedicated Seahawks fan. She also enjoyed baking, canning and spending time with her family & friends.
Nadine was preceded in death by her parents, a son, Denny Lee Mayville and by her husband, Johnny Mayville in 1984.
She is survived by her 3 sons and 2 daughters-in-law, John Mayville, Darin & Jennifer Mayville and Mike & Kelly Mayville, all of Sedro-Woolley.
Her long time companion, Carl Richard Dee of Sedro-Woolley; 2 sisters, Donna Lee and Deloris Short, both of Lebanon, Oregon. 17 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family suggests that memorials be made to the American Lung Association of Washington.
Graveside services will be held on Tuesday August 23, 2005 at 2:00 pm at the Lyman Cemetery with Pastor Diane Bobko of the Bethel Assembly of God Church officiating. A potluck fellowship will follow at the home of Pearl Mayville in Alger. Services are under the direction of Lemley Chapel, Sedro-Woolley.

    I was just thinkin about grandma sittin here with my dad and brother decided to look her up online and see what came up.. dads on the phone with grandmas sister our aunt donna right now actually lol. Made me think of grandma and how I miss her and how little I actually knew about her side of the family..
