The man, the myth, the legend; Nathan would love that.

12/13/85 – 4/01/23

Nathan was a person that lived his life on his terms.  As a youth growing up in Skagit Valley, he loved his friends, father, football, basketball, animals, and his grandparents, Bill, Kathy, Joyce and Mary more than anything.

He was a self-proclaimed mama’s boy.  He was proud to be the son of Troy (Kim) Williams and Barbara Alumbaugh (John) Borders.

Nathan spent a few tours in Iraq as a ground forces combat soldier; he was a very brave person.  As he re-entered civilian life, there were challenges.  Nate wanted to have fun and party and listen to good music.  You could always hear him singing a song looking for his next friend to have a party with.

Nathan was preceded in death by grandpa, Bill Willams and grandma, Mary Alumbaugh.

There are those who walk among us who cannot be contained in rooms.

You will be missed my son.

Till we meet again in the promised resurrection.

Sleep well.

So many of my earliest memories had Nathan in them, for one reason or another. He’s always held an extremely special place in my heart and he always will. As we grew older, no matter where we crossed paths, his smile would bring me back to elementary school and would literally warm my soul. Nathan, you’re such a light in so many lives, until we meet again ♡

I remember your 1st cry ( as I was one of your mom’s birthing coach ), how your mom would pop your pacifier into her mouth ( her way of cleaning it for you ) I nicknamed you Bruno as you were such a big boy with a tiny cry and the way you would look at your mom and smile at her. The love and bond between the two of you was amazing to watch when you were a baby, you were a momma’s boy and her pride and joy. Fly with the eagles, soar up to the clouds, dance in the wind with your grandma Mary till we all meet again. God bless and watch over your parents during this time.
