Phyllis Jean Reynolds, 74, of Concrete passed away on September 21, 2017 in Mount Vernon, WA after her second battle with cancer.
Phyllis was born to Wendell “Jack” & Bernice Johnson on February 1, 1943 in Crossnore, NC. The family relocated to Rockport, WA when Phyllis was still young and she attended and graduated from Concrete schools.
Phyllis married Allen Brandy, and later married Robert “Bob” Smith with whom she had two children. She later married Dan Reynolds with whom she had two more children with.
She spent some time as a hair dresser and an in-home caregiver but spent most of her life as a wife and mother. She thoroughly enjoyed going to garage sales and shopping for antiques.
Phyllis is survived by her husband, Dan Reynolds; her children, Lisa Smith, Winston (Kim) Smith, Ryan (Barb) Reynolds, and Bryan Reynolds. She will also be greatly missed by her many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She was preceded in death by both her parents and all of her siblings.
A Memorial Service will be held Saturday September 30, 2017 at 10am at Lemley Chapel, Sedro-Woolley.
No one shopped a thrift store or yard sale with more diligence and joy than Phyllis. Always a smile and a kind remark about my son, never forgetting our happy times as parents of children who shared school days together. Thinking of your family and knowing how difficult it can be to let a loved one go. Sincerest sympathies.
