Ralph D. Brodersen, 57, a longtime resident of Sedro-Woolley passed away at his home on Sunday, March 27, 2005.
He was born on June 1, 1947 in Arlington, WA, the son of Henry and Rose Kraetz Brodersen. He was raised and attended school in Arlington.
Ralph was united in marriage to Debra Harnden on Camano Island on March 29, 1975 and made their home in Sedro-Woolley. He worked for Skagit Corporation, Vern Sims Ford and Dunlop Towing. He was a very dedicated member of the Sedro-Woolley Volunteer Fire Department and spent many hours servicing and working on the fire vehicles, retiring after 26 years of service. Ralph enjoyed his garden and was known to help feed anyone he could. He enjoyed hiking and walking on the beach with Deb and his long walks with his dog, Tinker.
Ralph liked working on his cars and could repair almost anything.
He is survived by his wife, Deb at the family home. 2 sons, Bret Brodersen and his wife, Kristy of Olympia and Jason Brodersen of Sedro-Woolley. 1 sister, Rosemary Ford of Bremerton, 4 brothers, Donald Brodersen and his wife, Vera of Marysville, Carsten Brodersen and his wife, Cathy of Wisconsin, Roger Brodersen of Stanwood, and Bill Brodersen and his wife, Bobbie of Port Angeles and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, 1 sister, Louise and one brother Laurence. Visitation will be on Wednesday and Thursday from 9AM to 5 PM and on Friday from 9AM to 11AM.
Graveside Services will be held at 1:00 PM on Friday, April 1, 2005 at Union Cemetery in Sedro-Woolley with Pastor Walt Rice officiating. Services and arrangements under the direction of Lemley Chapel, Sedro-Woolley.
