He was preceded in death by his father, Travis E. Farrar; father-in-law, Boyde Long.

Pastor Farrar was the kindest pastor that I ever knew and I will always be thankful for the times he prayed with me over the phone since it was so difficult for me to attend church. I am truly looking forward to seeing him again in heaven and I know his big and kind smile is going to be even bigger in heaven! Blessings and comfort to Pam and all the family during this time!

You were my first youth pastor. You made a difference in my life & your smile would light up a room! I think all the girls in the youth group had a crush on you, including me. You will be missed by so but you are receiving your reward in heaven.

Pastor, I have listened to the words you spoke for our Lord over the last 25 years. Our families have been thru many ups and downs on both sides throughout the years. I will never forget how you taught us to read the word, pray the word, and do the word all the days of our lives. I truly love both you and your family and so glad to share our walk with God with all of you!!! So happy that the angels are rejoicing in heaven as they met you in your entrance. Rest In Peace and I bet even the Lord is rejoicing in hearing you sing, even if you said the rest of us wouldn’t.
