Ronald Ralph Weaver, 81, a 50 year resident of Sedro-Woolley, Washington, passed away in Arizona on March 15, 2024, with his loving wife by his side.  Ron was born on November 9, 1942, in Bellingham, WA to parents Flores William and Eunice Gertrude Hazel (Small) Weaver, where he grew up and attended school and got his automotive degree.  He later made his home in Skagit County, where he spent the rest of his life.

For 45 years, Ron was in the automotive industry, as an auto body repairer and painter.  He also owned his own business for 15 years, before retiring in 2007.  In 1973, He met his wife, Terri, and they enjoyed 50 years together.  She was his steadfast caregiver until the end.  Ron was a train enthusiast from childhood and was the president of The National Railway Association for two years.

After being diagnosed with Parkinson disease, Ron fought a courageous battle for 18 years.  He is greatly admired for his bravery and strong will.

Ron is survived by his wife, Terri Weaver; children, Ronald (Belinda) Weaver, Shannon (Kory) Bonnette, Rhonda Brock (Carlos), David (Elizabeth) Weaver and William (Lindsey) Weaver; grandchildren, Cameron Weaver, Chance Weaver, Nina Weaver, Desiray Bonnette, Glorian Bonnette, Jonathan Vance, Shailene Gronemyer, Kalli Gronemyer, Jason Forrester, Alissa Weaver, Kimberly Weaver and William G Weaver; 11 great grandchildren; father in law, John R Linehan; sisters in law, Marilyn (Duane) Weaver-Small and Vonda (Steve) Davis; four nephews; many friends for life.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Flores and Eunice Weaver; mother in law, Esther Allen; brother, Donald Weaver; grandson, Jesse Bonnette.

A Time of Visitation will be available from 3:00 to 5:00 Sunday, March 24, 2024 at Lemley Chapel, Sedro-Woolley; Funeral Service will be held at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 1122 McGarigle Road, Sedro-Woolley at 11:00 Monday; Interment will follow at the Greenhills Memorial Cemetery in Burlington.  A fellowship luncheon will follow the Graveside Service at the LDS Church.  Share memories of Ron and sign the online guest register.
