Sarah Emily Louise Spurgeon

Wednesday, August 2nd, 2023

Sarah (Bud/Sploosh) Emily Louise Spurgeon, age 32, of Marysville, WA passed away on Wednesday, August 2, 2023. She was born April 16, 1991 in Long Beach, CA.  Sarah graduated from Sedro-Woolley High School in 2009.

Her adoptive parents, Marilyn and Jerry Spurgeon watched Sarah grow into a fun-loving person who loved to play sports.  Baseball, hockey and volleyball were some of her favorites.  Volleyball was her sport of choice in middle and high school.  The Sedro-Woolley Cubs loved her blue Mohawk at the last senior game.  Playing her guitar, singing and writing music gave Sarah her happiest times.

Sarah is survived by her mother, Marilyn Spurgeon; grandmother, Myrna Kimball; biological mother, Diane Fanslow, (Eddie Fanslow); half-brother, Jason; half-sister, Jillian; uncle, Heath Spurgeon; aunt, Sandee Spurgeon; cousins, David Spurgeon (Mariam and his children: Dalanar, Corben, and Elijah); uncle, James Paquette (Cheryl); cousins, Eric, Candace, Janine, Henry, Dane; and numerous extended family members.

Sarah was employed by Walmart as a Team Lead.  Her fellow employees and customers loved her as a hardworking, fun-loving person.

The highlight of her last week of life was attending the Taylor Swift Concert with fellow Walmart employee Nikki.
