Tom McDonald, age 62, passed away Tuesday, August 2, 2005 near Sedro-Woolley, the result of a motor vehicle accident.
He was born July 19, 1943 in Wenatchee, WA the son of WM. Dorce and Viola Rader McDonald.
He grew up in the Wenatchee area, moving to Everett in 1955 where he graduated from Everett High School with the Class of 1961.
Tom was married on June 1, 1962 to his high school sweetheart, Judy Dolman. They resided in the Everett area and Anacortes until moving to Clear Lake in 1985. Tom worked as a equipment technician for West Coast Telephone, Contel, GTE, and Verizon for 30 years retiring at age 57.
He was a member of the Skagit Valley Motorcycle Club and was a lifetime member of the American Motorcycle Association. Tom enjoyed fishing, hiking, camping, and raising bees and he was known as a ‘jack of all trades.’ He is survived by his wife, Judy at the family home in Clear Lake. A son, Don McDonald and his wife Jane of Langley, WA and a daughter, Kim Pinson and her children, Jessie and Lauren McPete and Jasmine Pinson all of Portland, OR. His father, WM. Dorce McDonald of Spokane, a sister, Sandra Sherrill of Liberty Lake, WA and a brother, Roger McDonald of Marysville. Also numerous nieces and nephews.
