Valerie Dawn Smith, 34, passed away in Phoenix, AZ on Monday, December 13, 2007 of natural causes. Valerie was born on June 18, 1973 in Walla Walla, WA, the daughter of Robert & Angela Smith.
Valerie lived in Washington state including Skagit County most of her life. Besides attending school in Washington, she attended school in Texas & Minnesota, and for the past two years she has resided in Las Vegas, NV.
Valerie loved God and her family with all her heart. She loved music & singing and had a beautiful voice. Valerie loved the outdoors, all of God’s creation. She loved birds, cats, dogs, and brought many home; or even cared for them in their natural habitat.
Valerie is survived by her children, Robert Terwillegar and Jesse Terwillegar of Sedro-Woolley, WA; her mother and step-father, Angela & Jerry McAdow of Sedro-Woolley, WA. Her brother Dustin Smith of Sedro-Woolley, WA and her sister Angel McAdow of Sedro-Woolley, WA; and her niece Kaylee Smith of Sedro-Woolley. Her Grandparents, Jean & Fern Wallace of Priest River, ID; and Art & Lois Hillestead of Sedro-Woolley, WA; and grandfather James Scidmore of Mount Vernon, WA.
Valerie was proceeded in death by her father Robert Smith and her sister Amber McAdow in 1986; and her grandmother June Scidmore in 2004.
Valerie is loved and will be greatly missed by her family and all those who have been a part of her life. She is alive and with her Lord. She will always be alive in all our hearts.
Funeral services will be on Saturday, December 29, 2007 at 2:00 PM at Lemley Chapel, Sedro- Woolley with Pastor George Watkins officiating. Internment will be in the Sedro-Woolley Union Cemetery.
