Virginia Lee Keefe, age 82, passed away May 6, 2013 in Sedro-Woolley.  She was born October 13, 1930, in Tacoma, Washington, to Hugh and Esther (Thorston) Campbell.

She met and married her husband of 59 years, James Keefe.  They soon after began their family and had 3 children.  Virginia enjoyed taking care of her family and provided them with a warm and loving home.  She had many interests which included reading, crossword puzzles, cooking and gardening and always had fresh flowers in her home.  She was a kind gentle person and was the best mom you could ever have.  She will be missed by her husband and her children and those knew her.

She is survived by her husband, James Keefe, of Burlington; sons, Michael Keefe, of Mount Vernon, and Dennis and his wife, Beth Keefe, of Camano Island; daughter, Patty and her husband Bart Smith, of Bow; stepdaughters, Sharron and her husband Frank Kropa, of  Vermont, and Cindy Baeur of Pennsylvania; grandsons Matt and John Keefe, and Bryan and Dylan Farrow.

Virginia was preceded in Death by her mother and father, and her brother, Richard Campbell.

A private family service will be held.  Memorial contributions may be made to The Seattle Cancer Care Alliance Attn: Donations for Melanoma Research, P.O. Box 19023, Seattle, WA 98109-1023.
