Grandpa will be greatly missed by all. I have many great childhood memories with him taking me to help people with various projects. As well as helping me with projects that I was working on. A selfless person that always wanted to help others. You have gone to a better place and will be missed until we all meet again in glory.

I am Loren Wesley Hubbard, 2nd son of my dad Wesley. My dad taught my six brothers and sisters early on that if you sin, the punishment can be harsh, and I did learn the hard way many times.
My dad deliberately taught us how to use hand tools early on. He used bring cars home that weren’t running for some reason, and had us take them apart. (like the dash etc) We used other tools too like shovels, picks, rakes etc.
He bought horses a couple times and would bring them to our back yard a couple days at a time for us to ride and keep us busy. Thanks Dad, for everything you taught me because I kind of followed your lead there.

My condolences to the the entire Hubbard family. I have fond memories of of many overnight stays at the Hubbard home/farm on Gunderson road in the early 1970’s. I remember watching in awe as Mr. Hubbard put his team of horses to work on his farm. I always knew him as a man of faith and a man with an unmatched work ethic. Rest In Peace.

Wes will be greatly missed at our church. He was so faithful to bring in the accordion for worship. He always smiled at me as I played songs at the beginning of the service. His faithful attendance to all services was noticed. Wes and Ruth will always be special friends. Our prayers to all the family members.
