Zora Caroline Rowe, age 83, passed away Thursday, September 18, 2008 at the United General Hospital in Sedro-Woolley, Washington. She was born May 15, 1925 in Bremerton, Washington to Nels and Lenna Claydon Peterson.
Zora was a resident of Burlington for the past 33 years and formally resided in the Day Creek area. She worked as an LPN at United General Hospital for many years prior to her retirement. She enjoyed woodworking, painting, and gardening.
She is survived by her four children; Kim Canterbury of Seattle, Kristan Canterbury of Maple Valley, Kathleen Smith and her husband Walt of Sedro-Woolley, and Kerry Canterbury of Reno, NV. 11 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be Tuesday, September 23, 2008 at 1:00PM at Lemley Chapel, Sedro-Woolley with Pastor Rich DeRiter of Alger, officiating. Interment will follow in the Green Hills Cemetery in Burlington.
